2.4.1. 日語檢定測驗(日本語能力試驗－簡稱：JLPT)

本測驗分別在日本及世界各地為日語學習者測試其日語能力的測驗。本測驗於每年舉行一次，為十二月的第一個星期日。共分四個等級：

4級初級程度，約學習 150 小時，約100個漢字及800個單字。

3級約學習 300 小時，約300個漢字及1500個單字。

2級約學習 600 小時, 約1000個漢字及6000個單字。

1級高級程度，約學習 900 小時，約2000個漢字及10000個單字。

每級均含有三項測驗：
1) 文字、語彙
2) 聽解
3) 讀解、文法。
